BLACK PARTY OUTFIT

Black Mini Dress: H&M | Shoes: BCBGeneration (Similar Here!) | Clutch Bag: old via Coach (Newest version here) | Tights: Hue (at Nordstrom)  | Necklace: old via H&M (Similar Here!) | Watch: Michael Kors | Earrings: Nordstrom

I hope you all had the most amazing Christmas!  This past month has been one of lots of parties and fancy occasions!  This past weekend I went out with some friends and wanted to document my outfit (it was such a super last minute outfit) and I then I thought it could perfect for some NYE outfit inspiration for some of you!
That same day, I literally had nothing to wear out (I know I know but I just wasn't feeling anything my closet) so I ran to H&M with my sister-in-law and we found this simple little black dress.  In black, you just always look chic, classy, and made up without even trying hard.  It was pretty short so I paired it with some sheer black tights and my fave heels lately, these BCBGeneration strappy pumps with gold studs (similar ones right here!).
I decided to do a little something different with my hair and just clip it back on one side and I (of course) added some gold details to match my bag and shoes.

I hope you all have a wonderful NYE!!!
Lots of love and thank you for all the support I've received with my blog this year! It's been an amazing start!
Here's to a happy, healthy, and blessed New Year!! <3

NEW YEAR SHINE

Dress: Dress the Population | Heels: old via Calvin Klein - Similar here! | Bag: old via Coach - Similar via Coach here! | Earrings: Nordstrom

Merry Christmas!!

It is Christmas Eve and we're prepping the house and baking and cooking a TON! I'm literally giddy with excitement!!  I love Christmas!!!
Holiday party style isn't always about sparkles and sequins, but for me, New Year's Eve is! There's just something so special about dressing up in sparkle and shine for a party or gathering at this time of year.  When I saw the back of this dress in Nordstrom, I had to try it on and I fell in love.  An open back is always just such a stunning feature on a dress!  Especially this one.  It's extremely fancy and glamorous being skin-tight and covered in sequins but without the back I don't know if it would be the same.
It's just enough to not have to add much, just some classic heels and a clutch or cross body like the one I have on and you're set.  Keeping jewelry simple is great with the high neck and long sleeves.  Just some sparkly studs for another pop of shine!
Nordstrom seriously has the most amazing selection of New Year's Eve dresses, I had a hard time choosing, but the back on this one definitely did it for me!

I hope you all have a wonderful and very Merry Christmas! <3

COZY SPARKLE

Little break to watch the end of White Christmas while outfit shooting ;)

Cardigan: Mossimo | Maroon Tank Top: Mossimo | Sequins Leggings: XHILARATION at Target (Available in store only - Similar here) | Nude Pumps: BCBGeneration

Christmas is almost here...

And the Christmas parties are in full swing!  When I'm going to someone's house for a party I love to look super festive and fancy but still comfy and warm because that's how this time of year makes me feel! You want to look festive but still be able to eat a ton of food and move around, whether you're hanging out in the kitchen, helping out or around and about mingling, so this outfit is perfectly sparkly and super comfy.  My loose Mossimo top matches perfectly with these rose gold sequin leggings from Target which are SOOO soft on the inside (loose top and leggings? YES PLEASE.  Feel free to eat all the food you want.)  A soft and fuzzy cardigan adds the perfect amount of comfort and casual-ness (is that a word?) to it all.  You could even throw on a leather jacket instead to give it some edge or dress it up more and switch out the pumps for some comfy flats (before or after you arrive!)  This outfit is even perfect for New Year's Eve, whether you're going out or spending it in a house.  I love this outfit and I can't wait to wear it to one of the Christmas parties I'm going to this week!

Enjoy your holiday prep week everyone!  Just 5 more days!!

BUNDLED

Coat: 1 Madison (Only $50 and comes in brown and black!) | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad | Combat Boots: old via Nine West (Similar right here and here!) | Boot Socks: Merona | Bag: Patricia Nash (Sold Out - Similar) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Hi y'all.  Today I wanted to tell you guys about the most amazing deal I have ever found to this day.
I was shopping in Costco a few weeks ago with my mom and I came across this coat.  I've been needing a heavier winter coat but I've been putting it off for a while since it's still pretty warm out.  Well, I'm glad I waited.  Funny enough (and so unlike me) I tried on the coat without even looking at the price and I fell in love.  It's so warm, not too clunky (ugh hate that about coats), and the hood is SO FURRY AND SOFT AND WARM.  When I looked up at the price I almost fell over.  I thought "NO WAY that's the wrong price, where's the price for this because that cannot be it."  WELL.  I am so happy that I was wrong.  It was the right price and get this...it was only 50 DOLLARS.  50. FIFTY!!!

I immediately started googling the brand, 1 Madison.  I actually already have an army-style winter coat with a big furry hood by 1 Madison that my sister gave to me for Christmas two years ago.  I love it and I wear it all the time but it's a little short and hits right at my hips, so I wanted one that would be a little longer for those SUPER cold, arctic days New York likes to have every once in a while (or for  like two months straight but it's whatever.)  I also wanted a different color coat so when I saw this color I was like ::heart eyes:: Anyway, long story short, I found the exact coat online at Macy's right here and it was DOUBLE the price!!  And they only have it in one color.

I'm obsessed with this coat and now I actually can't wait for one of the arctic, freezing days so I can wear this and be snug as a bug and SO stylist.   So if you're in need of a new heavy winter coat or even want to get this as a gift for someone for Christmas, it's a serious deal!  Plus, it comes in 3 different colors: Garnet Red (what I'm wearing,) Brown (But I swear it looks more like Army Green in person,) and Black.  I put the link above as well, there's free shipping, and it says it should come between 3-5 business days so you could probably get it before Christmas!

Sorry for the ramble, I just needed to tell everyone about this amazing deal!! So worth every penny! And at Costco of all places.  I always find great deals on clothes there but I still get surprised! Lol.

Have a wonderful week

*Sorry about the lighting and the color of the coat in the pictures, it was partly cloudy the day we shot these pics and the sun was in and out!  The color of the coat is a deep red, not really magenta like it looks in some of the pictures.

MERRY AND BRIGHT

Gold Polka Dot Sweater: Sejour | Brown Jeggings: Michael Kors | Nude Pumps: BCBGeneration | Metallic Crossbody Bag: Sam & Libby | Watch: Marc Jacobs

As soon as I walked past this sweater in Nordstrom I knew I NEEDED it for a holiday outfit.  It's so cute!!!!  I mean metallic gold polka dots scream holidays.
I love sweaters that are long and baggy so I didn't even think anything of the size until I got it home and saw it was a 1X.  But it fits perfect and just the way I like! (And by that I mean covering my bum :)  It's almost like a dress and goes perfect with these slimming brown Michael Kors jeggings, which I am absolutely obsessed with.  They fit perfect, don't stretch out, and are so slimming.

Paired with some pumps and you're good for a cute and dressy, yet SUPER comfy holiday party outfit!!  This is perfect for Christmas or New Year's Eve.
I also went along with the shiny and metallic theme by adding in this silver cross body bag from Target that I've been obsessed with this season (I wore it in my last holiday party themed outfit here, too.)  It was made for holiday parties!

I can't believe how close it's getting to Christmas!  I remember Christmas taking so long to get here as a kid and the holiday season felt like it lasted forever (I wish it would :(  And now it's only two weeks away!  I'm still scrambling around trying to find the perfect gifts for everyone, plus I have school finals thrown in the middle of everything lol.  Are any of you still getting gifts for people or are you an A+ gift-getter and you're all done?

Remember to take a moment to just chill and enjoy this beautiful season and try not to stress out too much ;)

SIMPLE DETAILS

Grey Cardigan: Bobeau (and on sale!) | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad | White Tee: H&M | Brown Combat Boots: old via Nine West (Similar here and below) | Scalloped boot socks: Merona | Brown Bag: old via Coach (Similar via Coach here and here

Bobeau has to be one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom (and maybe like ever?)  If you read my posts often you know the main things I look for in clothing are comfort and versatility, and Bobeau's clothes are both of those things.  They make so many different style basics that are such great quality and so soft.

This cardigan is one of my fave pieces I've found.  The placement of the one button gives it just that little detail and it's such a different style than the ordinary cardigan.  When it's buttoned closed it almost makes for a little bit of a cowl neck, which I love.  It also looks super cute and normal when it's open, too, so I love that the button doesn't take away from that.

I paired it with some of my favorite comfy, basic pieces and added a little something different with my scalloped boot socks peaking out of my combat boots. (I've been obsessed with boots socks lately, I must have all of them!) They just give an outfit that cute little touch that you wouldn't have even noticed was missing, but now totally need to add to everything!

Have a wonderful week everyone
