Cardigans are a must-have staple for fall and winter.  Long, short, plain, patterned, they're just the perfect versatile piece that you can wear over and over.  They're perfect to layer under a coat or wear as your coat on a warmer day (which I've been doing lately because the weather here in NY has been pretty warm for this time of year!)
When it comes to sweaters, I always think it's a good idea to invest in a few high quality, warm ones that you can wear all the time with everything, especially cardigans since they're so easy to take on and off.  This Halogen cardigan from Nordstrom was originally priced at $98, but it's now been marked down to $34.30!   You could not ask for a better deal on something that can be paired with just about anything and that's going to last you (and keep you warm) all winter long.

Happy Monday everyone!!  

This week, I've partnered with Stylezog to bring you a few different glam looks.  If you haven't checked out Stylezog yet, you definitely have to!  They're jewelry ranges from simple and delicate, to glam and overstated pieces.  I had such a hard time picking my faves!  

For this look I wore these Dior inspired pearl double-stud earrings (only $8! I MEAN. Come on.) and this studded cable bracelet (currently sold out but this is a David Yurman dupe for only $15 ::heart eyes::)

I paired these elegant and classic pieces with this cowl neck (again, can't stop with the cowl necks I'm obsessed) long tunic from Halogen and put on some leggings underneath, but I also can't wait to wear this with jeans!  And for an extra added touch, I wore some high grey socks with my booties and scrunched them down.

This post is super casual and kind of a repeat of my outfit from Monday but I just wanted to show you guys how you many ways you can style this top! I can't stress enough how much I love this tunic top.  I wore it in this post on Monday in a different color and I think I'm going to go back to Old Navy and get it in a third color.  It's just such a versatile kind of top, you can do so much with it.  Plus the price literally does not get better!  

A long top or sweater, leggings, and booties are just my uniform as soon as the weather gets cold.  It works with any combination of clothes and it's as comfy and put together as it gets!

If you haven't noticed, I have been OBSESSED with cowl neck tops lately.  I originally got this sweater in a light pink (see here) and I loved so much I had to pick it up in a basic color, too.  I got it in this marled grey color because it'll be great to layer under coats, jackets, and different patterned scarves as the weather gets colder.  

This past weekend I paired this sweater with some really simple other pieces for a classic and chic look of darker shades.  

And I love putting my hair up with a cowl neck top, I feel like it can really pulls this outfit together!

The best thing about neutral colors is that they can be worn all year round, which is why neutrals have to be my favorite things to wear.  Neutrals go with everything and themselves.  You never have to worry that they won't match something!

For this outfit I paired a bunch of neutral colored items like my tan boots and a blush scarf from Forever.  I love how effortlessly chic, light, and pretty all these colors are together!

PONCHO PERFECT

Ponchos are so in style this season, I've been seeing them everywhere!  When I found this one in Kohl's I had to try it on and I loved it.  (The color in the pics is showing up as a dark brown for some reason, but I swear its back!)  Plus, this one is reversible! A poncho is the perfect thing to throw off a long sleeve shirt for a day when there's a little chill in the air.  Easy, minimal, and so comfy!

I paired it with a hat, jeans (my fave!), and some brown chelsea boots. Underneath I wore a plain white long sleeve tee.  You can put just about any neutral color shirt underneath; black, grey, maroon, olive, you name it!
