A BRIDAL SHOWER

My future sister-in-law's bridal shower was last week and it was wonderful!!  She had such an amazing time and everything was beautiful.  I, too, had SO much fun and I was especially excited to wear this outfit!!

Crop Top: H&M
Skirt: Chelsea 28 at Nordstrom Rack
White Pumps: Christian Siriano at Payless
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

When I found this Chelsea 28 skirt at Nordstrom Rack, I KNEW I had to wear it for the shower! I was looking for a very Spring-y outfit to wear so this fit the bill PERFECT. After searching the mall high and low for the perfect top to match this skirt, I finally came across this long lost crop top in my closet.  After a quick peak in Payless one day while passing by, this was the second time Christian Siriano has hit the nail on the head with his designs.  I'm obsessed with these white pumps! And so comfortable, too!! Although it wasn't the perfect warm Spring day we were all hoping for weather wise, it was a most perfect day :)

CASUAL MALL DAY

Today's outfit is just something casual and quick I threw together to spend a day at the mall! Spring seems to be taking its time getting here so I figured why not expand my wardrobe a bit in preparation?

Leather Jacket: Bebe
T-Shirt: Lucky Brand (Marshall's)
Leggings: The Gap Factory Store
Shoes: Converse
Bag: Patricia Nash
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Rings: H&M and Michael Kors

This outfit is typical casual for me. I'll admit, the Converse high-tops weren't the best decision when wanting something quick to change in and out of in the dressing room but they're a go-to, especially since they're comfortable, white and never seem to go out of style.  Of course, my fave leggings, I've talked enough about them in a few of my last posts. Never ending love. A leather jacket pretty much goes with everything and it's great to slip on when the weather can't make up its mind. I'm still in love with my Ray-Ban Clubmasters, even after so many years.  They're such classics.
I hope Spring is treating you all better, wherever you are! Happy Friday! :)

SPRING PASTELS

Who doesn't love a good pastel combo, especially for Spring?

Sweater:  Old Navy
Boyfriend Jeans:  The Gap
Scarf:  Forever 21
Shoes: BCBG
Purse:  Patricia Nash
Sunglasses:  Gucci

Spring is probably my favorite season.  The colors, the smells, the weather, it's perfect.  So of course I could not wait for it to be official in just two more days.  My Spring wardrobe is out and ready to party.  My boyfriend jeans are my GO-TO, especially in the Spring and Summer, so those were the first things I ran to when I saw the weather this day.  Although it was warm, it wasn't THAT warm so I opted for this light, cozy, baby blue sweater and this pastel pink scarf.  To make my outfit a little more than casual, I wore these nude pumps from BCBG, but if was I going for super casual and comfy, I would have gone with some leopard print flats.  Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading, and enjoy your start of Spring!!  :)

BRACING THE SNOW

Snow...snow...and more snow.  What is a girl to do?  I'm going to show you how I embraced the (hopefully) last of the cold weather with a heavy sweater, coat, snow boots, the works.

Coat: Madison 1
White Sweater: Forever 21
Jeggings: The Gap Factory Store
Boots: Sorel
Bag: Patricia Nash
Sunglasses: Quay Australia
Scarf: Forever 21

It may not look like it, but this outfit was super warm, mainly because of this Madison 1 army-style coat.  The material is really heat-retaining but somehow still light, which I love because I hate big, clunky coats.  This coat comes with a detachable inside lining and a fur hood but, again, not one for clunky.  These jeggings (alongside my fave black leggings) are the holy grail in my closet.  I cannot rave ENOUGH about The Gap Factory Store which, if you've read my last few posts, you'll know is where I got these staple items.  I love the fit and the quality is great!  If you have a Gap Factory Store near you, definitely check it out!  Also still obsessed with my sunnies from Quay Australia, which I talked about in my last OOTD.

On to my footwear, my sister just got me these snow boots from Sorel and it was just in time for our biggest snow storm of the season.  They still have the look of the typical Sorel snow boot but with a little more of a feminine touch!  AND they're completely waterproof!

Last, but definitely not least, the show stopper...my new, beautiful Patricia Nash bag.  It was love at first sight.  We spend all our time together.  We get each other.  Things could not be going better.  I'm truly happy.  My love, my soulmate...is this bag.  No but seriously, made of smooth, tooled Italian leather, this bag could not be anymore beautiful and well made.  I'm now a lifetime Patricia Nash lover.

Today it is 60 degrees outside.  Here's to warm weather and Spring time posts in our new futures! :D

LUNCH DATE IN ALL BLACK

Today's look is just simple in all black.  My main focus for this outfit was my new sunglasses from Quay Australia!  I've been waiting for them to come and I'm so excited I can finally wear them. I'm in love.

Black Coat: Old Navy
Blanket Scarf: Forever 21
Black Leggings: The Gap Factory Store
Booties: Zara
Sunglasses: Quay Australia
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I don't know if you can tell, it was bone chillingly cold this day so I was going for comfort and warmth above all, but I didn't want to look too casual.  Underneath my coat I'm just wearing a black sweater.  I love leggings (a little too much) and this pair is just so warm and thick it's hard not to wear them every day in this weather.  Remind me to buy ten more pairs next time I'm at The Gap Factory Store.  My boots...let's talk about my boots.  These boots are the most amazing, perfect booties I have every seen.  So they were a done deal when they crossed my path in Zara last month.  And these sunglasses.  I could not be more obsessed.  I order them online not knowing if they would actually look good but they did not disappoint.  Quay Australia makes some seriously cute sunnies and you will definitely be seeing more of them in my future posts!

COFFEE DATE

So your bestie just texted you for an impromptu Saturday morning Starbucks date.  You have yet to leave your bed. You haven't washed your hair in two days. You're not planning on doing either any time soon...what to do? Here's what I slapped together for this exact situation.

Leather Jacket: Bebe
Black and White Striped Shirt: The Gap Factory Store
Black Leggings: The Gap
Black and White Sneakers: Nike (DSW)
Black and Gold Crossbody Bag: Coach
Black Aviator Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Of course, leggings are a go-to when comfort is a priority.  These leggings are from The Gap Factory Store and are BY FAR the best pair of leggings I have ever owned.  They're the perfect length, material, and thickness and we're in love. This simple black and white striped long sleeve shirt is also from The Gap Factory Store and set the tone for this color scheme.  My leather jacket adds a little edge.  It's from Bebe and we've been through a lot together. An essential for any wardrobe.  I think a pair of black and white sneakers could go with anything really and are of course always comfy.  I went with this black and gold Coach bag. Since it's a cross body it was easy to throw on and a great way to tie this outfit together :)
