LITTLE BLUE DRESS

Dress: H&M // Shoes: Forever 21 // Necklace: Forever 21 // Bracelets: Alex and Ani // Rings: H&M and Michael Kors // Lokai Bracelet

I have been obsessed with this little blue dress from H&M lately.  I've worn it too many times since I bought it, I think I may need to give it a break! It has just been my go-to.  It's so flowy, summery, and comfortable; it's the perfect summer dress.  Also, I have a weakness for anything blue and white, too... that color combo reminds me of Greece!
My shoes are from Forever 21 and have also been a go-to.  They're surprisingly comfortable and since they're black they go with pretty much anything. They go with a casual outfit or with a cute little dress like this!
As you can probably tell from previous posts, I've been really into braids lately, especially since it's been so warm out.  There's so many different types of braids, so many different styles to do with them, and they keep your hair out of your face, which is great when it's hot and humid out.  If you'd like to see a braid tutorial, leave me a comment below!

Thanks for reading!! Have a great day :)

NEON

Sweater: Forever 21 // Shorts: Marshall's // Shoes: Target // Bag: Coach // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Watch: Michael Kors // Lokai Bracelet

Last weekend my nephew, Leo, was visiting so my mom and I decided to take him out for the day! I love spending days with my nephews more than anything, but I've learned my lesson with dressing cute and handling babies and toddlers lol.
I tried for comfortable and practical, but still cute.  Since it was a little overcast and not that warm, I balanced my outfit with this light sweater from Forever 21 and shorts.  And of course, the neon yellow added some brightness to the day :)  I also wanted my hair secure and out of my face so I did this fun side, dutch braid and a low bun.
We had lunch, walked around a little, and then stopped at this fun street fair that was happening in the area.  They had airplanes to sit in and the local firehouse brought out two firetrucks for kids to play on, so of course Leo went nuts climbing on everything and looking around!  It was so cute :)

I hope you all enjoyed this post and are having a great week!

VINTAGE FINDS

Shirt: Vintage - Similar // Shorts: Marshall's // Shoes: Marshall's // Bag: Coach // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Lokai Bracelet

"Oh my god I love your shirt, where did you get it?" "Oh it was my mom's from the 80's!"  "Omg SO cute!  That is the ugliest effing shirt I've ever seen."

If you haven't seen Mean Girls and you don't know who Regina George is, then I can't help you.  But that quote was just so fitting.
So this denim/chambray shirt, whatever you want to call it, is LITERALLY my mom's shirt from the 80's or 90's.  Thank God for mom's and older sisters who lived through those decades and saved some of their wardrobes! I found it a few months ago and thought it really was SO cute! You can literally find a shirt like this in any store nowadays.  I paired it with these white denim shorts and these bamboo-type material loafers, both from Marshall's.  My bag is Coach from a few seasons ago and I thought it went best with my outfit.  I kept accessories simple with my Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and my Lokai bracelet.

I hope this post gave you some inspiration to go looking through YOUR mom's closet for some vintage finds!  Have an amazing day :)

BOHEMIAN

Tank top: H&M // Jeans: The Gap // Sandals: Similar // Bag: Coach // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Rings: H&M and Forever 21 // Lokai Bracelet

This look is my go-to summer outfit.  It's simple, comfy, and a little bohemian with a loose white tank and, of course, my boyfriend jeans lol.  But today it's all about the details and accessories.  I accessorized with lots of rings and this fun ring/bracelet thing (not sure what it's called, but if you do let me know in the comments below!) that I found in Forever 21 a few months ago.  Forever has really stepped up their game recently.  It's awesome for finding these new fads and styles and not spending a fortune.  I also have on my Lokai bracelet and if you haven't heard of Lokai you should definitely check them out! They make these awesome bracelets that you can read all about on their website www.mylokai.com.  They just have a great message behind them and 10 percent of their profits go to a variety of different charities!
For my belt, bag, and shoes, I did a little shopping in my closet and stuck with the same brown leather theme.  This belt is super vintage, probably my moms from the 80's (Regina George anyone?). These gladiator sandles I got in Greece about 8 years ago! I totally forgot about them and I found them sitting in the back of my closet.  I've fallen in love ALL over again.

I hope you enjoyed reading and have an awesome day!

STROLL IN THE CITY

T-Shirt: Nordstrom Rack // Jeggings: The Gap Factory Store // Shoes: Converse // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Watch: Michael Kors // Sunglasses: Aldo

Living so close to the city, it's so easy to just hop on a train or take a car ride in, and I do whenever I get the chance!  You're never bored in Manhattan.
I went in with some of my family and two of my nephews a few days ago just to hang out and we had such a nice day.  Even though it's not quite summer yet, the weather is definitely feeling like it!  We went for burgers (Shake-Shack duh), walked around, hung out outside the Met, and played in Central Park.  My little three year old nephew was so fascinated by the fountain outside the Met, he had so much fun!  Nothing I love more than being an aunt, hanging with my nephews, and watching them learn and grow (but I really wish they could just stay babies forever :(
I went for a super casual look in this purple v-neck tee, jeggings, and high-tops.  This is my go-to comfy outfit to walk around and play in!
I hope you enjoyed this and have a beautiful day! :)
