I feel like summer is the perfect time to experiment with out of the ordinary accessories.  A colorful bag, statement jewelry, wild sunglasses;  it's easy to pull stuff like that off during the summer because you can wear less and more simple clothing to just focus on this different accessory and try to figure out how it looks best.  Catch my drift?

I received this gorgeous JORD wooden watch in the mail of a few days ago and have been wearing it non-stop.  It is TOO perfect for summer! For this look, I styled it with a really simple summer outfit of some of my favorite neutral summer colors (that all look amazing with a tan btw, as does this watch which makes it even MORE perfect for summer!)  

I ordered it in the Zebrawood and Maple blend because I just loved how the two blends of wood contrast.  You can totally tell from even a few feet away that it's actual wood and I've been getting stopped so much by just random people asking! Lol.  They literally can't believe it's a wooden watch haha.

On top of the fact that it's so cool and different, this watch is so light weight you don't even feel like you're wearing anything.  

I've been looking for a new watch to get for a few months now, that's different than the ones I already have but everything I've been finding is super expensive or just too similar.  So I was really surprised by how affordable the JORD watches are, especially since they're so unique and there's really nothing else like it around.  It was just what I was looking for!

On top of everything, my watch arrived in the coolest wooden box, I was so impressed when I opened it up.  And because of the price and presentation, it's the perfect gift for any summer birthday or special occasion!  Plus JORD makes a ton of different designs that all come in different kinds of wood, so you could totally find something for everyone.

HAPPY SUMMER!! The most wonderful time of the year! Jk Christmas is definitely more wonderful  but summer comes in close second.  It's warm, it's sunny, school's out, there's graduations (one of my personal faves), BBQs, vacations, laying out by the pool and at the beach.  It's been pretty beautiful outside for some time now here in New York but now it's official!

I wore this cute little floral dress for my graduation and it was just the perfect summery, comfy dress for the occasion.  I was debating between this dress and another one but I'm so happy I went with this one!  Even though the background behind the floral designs is black it's still such a light and colorful dress that screams summer.

Comfort-wise, it's light and airy.  It was so great for underneath my graduation gown (which was all black.  Thank God I was sitting under a tree for the ceremony.)  There's lining underneath the dress that's form fitting but not super tight so no need to worry about it being sticky and annoying, or it riding up or anything.  The floral designs are on a loose mesh material over the lining.  So again, super light.  

This dress is just great for any summer occasion, whether it's daytime or night.  A wedding or even just a nice dinner out (you can totally wear it with cute flat sandals!) Plus, it's so affordable!  

After the graduation at school, my family and I went out to dinner and then took a walk near the water while the sun was setting.  I wore the dress from 7am to 10pm and had no complaints all day long!

HELLO SUMMER

Hey guys!! It's been A WHILE.  With school ending, finals, graduation, and a new job (plus a ton of parties and birthdays) May and June have been SO busy and hectic and omg. But hey, not complaining!  And seriously, I could not be more excited that summer is finally HERE!  And all the summer clothes!!!
So I was in H&M a few weeks ago and went nuts with all their new summer stuff.  I got so many versatile pieces that are going to be perfect for mixing and matching to make a thousand different summer outfits.
This outfit is too perfect any occasion.  BBQ's, graduation parties, dinner with friends.  Plus I'm in love with this navy/tan/cream color combo.  It's so chic and summery!

My favorite part, though, has to be this pants/shoes combo.  You can pair these pants with a cute crop top like I did here, or even just a plain old white tee or tank top!  These pants are also perfect for the office (super comfy and great quality) where you can pair them with a fitted blazer and/or a blouse! You can also pair them with any type of shoe from a sandal, to a stiletto, to a flat.  And these platforms? Omg could not be more comfortable and surprisingly easy to walk in.  And only $15.
