HAPPY NEW YEAR

Jumpsuit | Heels | Watch | Necklace | Clutch (Similar)

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
I'm pretty much in total denial that December is over (still listening to Christmas music, s2g.)
I would say that it's officially the most depressing time of the year but New Year's Eve is tomorrow night and that's exciting!  Then my birthday is in one week, so I can't get all depressed just yet!  After my birthday weekend then maybe I'll let it sink in that the holiday season is over 😉   But for right now, keep on keeping on people, it's almost 2017! And people still have their Christmas lights up, so we can just pretend lol.

Anyway, if you're still searching for something sparkly to wear tomorrow night, this jumpsuit is from Target and it's SO light and comfortable.  I love how pretty and subtle it is, with just that little bit of shine you want to ring in the new year.  It's perfect whether you're spending it at someone's house or out on the town.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, joyous, prosperous, and successful new year...💖

EVENING CHRISTMAS SPARKLE

Top | Skirt | Heels (on sale for only $29!!!) | Tights

Christmas is in 6 days!!!

Where on EARTH did December go?! I swear, every year the Christmas season goes by faster and faster, and it's just never enough time.  But this year I'm all done with my presents and I can just relax and enjoy this next Christmas filled week watching my favorite movies and drinking hot chocolate by the tree 😌 (Ask me how many times I've watched National Lampoon and Just Friends this month.)

So, about this outfit.  Even if you're more of a casual dresser for Christmas, an outfit like this is perfect for New Year's Eve, too. When I bought this top I never thought I'd pair it with something that had more beading, but after debating whether to be boring and put it with black jeans (typical me) I thought it just needed something more to do it justice.  I found this skirt in Target and it just has the perfect shape for a loose top because it's a little fitted on top, like a peplum style, so the bottom just flares out from underneath and it's just a cute look.  I think the gold sequins actually makes the shirt pop that much more, too!
The shirt is also a little see-though on the bottom and in the back but I think that's so cute if you're wearing maybe like a black bralette underneath, plus the the top of the skirt kind of shines through the shirt and it's so pretty.  And both my top and skirt were so affordable!  You can even just wear this skirt under a casual sweater and it'll peak out from below for that little pop of sparkle.  So comfy and so cute!!!
I paired it all with black tights and these adorable mary-jane style pumps because I thought it made all look a little more wintery.   Plus my shoes were on sale for only $29 and they are SO comfortable 😄  I walked around in them for a while the other day and I have no complaints.

I hope you all also have a nice relaxing and festive week before Christmas as well.  Let me know what you're plans are in the comments down below! 🎅🎄

THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS SWEATER

Sweater | Leggings | Booties (Similar) | Bag (Similar) | Watch

Only 15 days until Christmas...
Where is the time going?  I always say time is just flying by, but December is going by at an annoyingly fast pace.  Like, CHILL DECEMBER slow down Christmas is my favorite!!!!
Anyway, who's done with their Christmas shopping?  Not this girl 🙋

So you guys, I have found the most perfect red Christmas sweater.  It's long, it's loose, and has a flattering shape so it's perfect to wear with leggings (my favorite type of sweater.)  Plus the arms do this kind of bell sleeve thing and I love it!  The best part is that I found it on super duper sale so it's only $39!
I wish I could just wear it everyday up until Christmas, especially since it's been so freakin cold here, but I've settled for just wearing it once before Christmas.  Then I'm still debating whether I should wear it on Christmas Eve and wear a cheesy Christmas sweater on the day or the other way around.  What do you guys think?
How's your Christmas shopping going?  Have you finished up or are you a scratching your head wondering what to get everyone? Lol let me know in the comments below! 🎄

SLEEK AND SIMPLE

Happy December!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  The day after I spent home with my family decorating and then we went and got our Christmas tree and had Thanksgiving leftovers and hot cocoa and watched Home Alone and it was great.  I spent the rest of the week decorating the tree and admiring it every time I pass it.  Like I s2g every time I walk by I just stare at it and the first few times my mom made so much fun of me, telling me I looked at it like it was my new born baby, but now she's genuinely concerned.  But I can't help it, she's just a beaut (the tree) and I love Christmas!  I'm sure there are plenty of other Christmas nuts like me out there lol 😜🎄

So about this outfit - when it doubt, keep it simple.  When I found this moto jacket I knew right away it would be a go-to for me.  So whenever I'm just struggling figuring out what to wear lately, I just throw on some black jeans, a plain tee, and this comfy moto jacket.  I love clothes that can do that - like just make an outfit go from nothing to something.  It's 40% right now and it's a total deal for something that can be used over and over and in a thousand different ways.

There's of a lot holiday festive-ness coming to the blog this month so prepare yourselves and stay tuned!

2 LAST MINUTE THANKSGIVING OUTFIT IDEAS

For all you procrastinators out there, all you ladies that are headed to someone's house for Thanksgiving tomorrow, and don't know what the hell you're gonna wear -  this one's for you!

I've put together two outfits with basic things that I already had in my closet and you probably do, too!

Outfit #1

Keep it simple and basic with this outfit because who doesn't have jeans and a basic white button down in their closet?   They're two versatile pieces that can be used and evolve from season to season.  To make the outfit a bit more fall, I wore brown riding boots (you could also do booties) and I added simple, dainty jewelry for just a touch of shine and delicate detail.  A white button down always looks so chic and paired with jeans you'll feel comfortable, casual, and stylish wherever spend Thanksgiving.

Outfit #2

Throw it back! Whip out those sundresses you wore all summer, you're not finished with them just yet!  Do you have any that have a pretty floral pattern or a chambray material?  Pair it with some riding boots and a long neutral colored cardigan and it's automatically a fall outfit.  Throw on some dark tights underneath if you want another layer just to keep warm, up to you! This is such a cute little outfit if you're going to someone else's house for the day because you'll be comfortable in a few light layers and you'll be a teeny bit dressed up with just the right amount of laid back casual-ness.

Hope this helped you out if you were still stressing about what to wear tomorrow!
I hope you all have a wonderfully delicious and cozy Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
